Plan a Proper, Removable Tag Setup

Use the instructions supplied by your tag issuer, check the rental vehicle for built-in equipment, and create a removal note before the first toll trip.

The current NJ E-ZPass FAQ says to clean and dry the windshield, keep the label upright and facing the driver, and mount the tag near the upper center by the rearview mirror. Always follow the instructions for your own tag.
